Mexico’s Cemex says beneath U.S. DOJ investigation

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s Cemex stated on Wednesday that it had obtained data necessities from the U.S. Division of Justice (DOJ) over its operations in Colombia and different jurisdictions.

The investigation comes after the corporate stated in December that the Securities Alternate Fee (SEC) had requested it for data to find out whether or not it violated the International Corrupt Practices Act within the building of a brand new plant in Colombia.

The corporate (CMXCPO.MX) stated it might cooperate with each the DOJ and the SEC investigations.
